Maddi exudes excellence and is a role model for all nurses! We were so lucky to have Maddi as the RN caring for my husband during his hospitalization on the Neurology unit at PVH. She anticipated almost every need. He commented that he hardly ever had to turn on his call light to ask for anything as Maddi had some kind of sixth sense for when to enter the room, check on meds and keep us informed every step of the way. She communicated well throughout the stay, especially when changes in medications, schedule of medications, or even the dosage of the medications occurred.
Maddi often prepped us for what was next to come to keep our nerves at bay as several tests were ordered and procedures were performed. Whenever the doctor would come by, Maddi was cognizant of when he was present and often stood by to stay informed on my husband's changes in care. Maddi never let us down as she always showed up when she said she would to change out IV bags or disconnect lines. Maddi's attention to her patients is outstanding!
