While the entire nursing staff was wonderful, one nurse stood out above the rest. Amanda Glenny was our nurse on Saturday and Sunday. The previous night I experienced a scary post-partum bleed and preeclampsia. My husband and I were understandably nervous and concerned. While performing all the required aspects of her role, Amanda went above and beyond to not only treat us as a family but also acted as an advocate continuously to ensure that I had the appropriate care from the locum doctor on call. Time and time again during our stay, Amanda stepped in for us to make sure the treatment was appropriate and that our concerns were being addressed. Amanda went out of her way to call the on-call doctor several times when she felt things just weren't right and advocated for updates to our treatment plan. She was truly concerned for us and our newborn daughter. I wanted to bring your attention to Amanda and her exceptional dedication to her patients.
