It was such a comfort to know he was in Megan's care when I wasn't there. It allowed me to rest well at night.
My dad was admitted to the 6th floor with sepsis, and I had to make one of the toughest decisions of my life - putting him on hospice/end-of-life care. Megan took care of my dad for 2 of the 6 days he was on the floor. She was the first nurse to ask me if I needed anything if I had any questions and kept checking on me and my dad every 2-4 hours. She made a really hard time for me as pleasant as it could be. Her compassion and care and attention were so appreciated and welcomed.
Being all alone with my dad in this situation is so sad and so hard and Megan went out of her way to make sure I, and my dad, were okay and well taken care of. I can't tell you how much that meant to me. It was such a comfort to know he was in Megan's care when I wasn't there. It allowed me to rest well at night. Thank you, Megan.
