Aida was the previous nurse for one of my patients. The patient had been admitted before Christmas and was still here after the holidays. Aida and this patient bonded well, but after a stay in the ICU post-operatively, the patient came to my unit rather than Aida's unit. After a day or two, Aida found this patient and brought her and her two children wrapped Christmas gifts because the patient was unable to shop for the holidays due to her surgery/hospitalization. I believe that this is one of the sweetest, most beautiful acts of kindness and humanity I have ever seen.

Aida is a beautiful person who truly made my day, lifted my spirits, and I want you all to know how great she is! I will never forget her. May she be forever blessed. There are good people left in this world.
