I couldn't eat the food there and Dot bought me a big jar of peanut butter and pretzels, crackers, etc.
Dorothy is one of the most caring, compassionate nurses on the floor and all the patients adore her. Recently, one of the patients referred to "Dot" as a breath of fresh air after having a difficult day. Dot made sure to explain this patient's care in a way that they understood and made them feel important. In addition to this interaction, Dot continues to attentively listen to her patients and lend a helping hand on the floor whenever needed. Dot always goes the extra mile to provide compassionate care to all her patient. She provides excellent support as they are going through treatment.

I have been here for almost 6 weeks. Dot was one of my first night nurses. She was kind and caring! Being here, especially at night is very stressful and she made it seem okay! I'm thankful that she was here. She's kind and funny. She helps take my mind off my own situation. I love her for that! I'm going home tomorrow, and I feel like I'll be leaving friends. I couldn't eat the food there and she bought me a big jar of peanut butter and pretzels, crackers, etc. How many nurses do that?
