Karlene shows great concern for the welfare of others and is actively involved in finding solutions for difficult challenges. She is a true humanitarian.
Hospitals are usually associated with gloom and grief, yet Karlene manages to make our IV Therapy experience a pleasant, safe, cheerful environment. There are so many responsibilities entrusted to her, still, she functions at a high level under immense pressure and stress. In emergency situations, she remains levelheaded and in control. Therefore, it is very clear to me that her work ethics, competence, care, and compassion are above reproach.
There is no doubt Karlene was made for this line of work. She has a kind heart and an unwavering dedication to her patients, doctors, and coworkers. She is a hardworking individual who always focuses on the task at hand. When difficult patients arise, which is not uncommon, she is able to calm them down, and explain the situation without coming across as condescending. She is excellent in problem-solving and patient care. All of her patients listen to her and trust her. And all of us have nothing but good things to say about her. Karlene is able to leave her personal life at the door and concentrate on her patients. She has personally been there for me in my greatest times of need.
One such is example is that she gave up her Labor Day holiday to come in to take vitals and she never failed to console me when struggling to hold on. I will never forget feeling hopeless and helpless when my cancer returned. She saw my struggle, took me to a private area, cried with me, and encouraged me to hold during my most trying time. For that, she was and still is a true blessing to me.
Karlene shows great concern for the welfare of others and is actively involved in finding solutions for difficult challenges. She is a true humanitarian. Patient care is her mission and health care to all is her passion. She provides excellent care to her patients, often going an extra step to make sure the patients and family members are comfortable and secure. The energy and enthusiasm with which she goes about her life and professional career are remarkable. She never fails to emulate warmth, humility, and compassion as she serves others and she always expresses appreciation to others for their efforts.
