Dulce is a one-of-a-kind exemplary RN leader. She always provides compassionate care for the patients and will go over and above the call of duty to provide excellent care. She has strong clinical and leadership skills as demonstrated by jumping into action if a patient is in trouble, and leading her peers during a critical situation. Dulce excels in leadership service; she leads by example and is constantly mentoring her peers and nurses so they can provide stellar care.
She has volunteered for many leadership opportunities such as the Nursing Education Leadership training and helps lead the DM Insulin Start class every other month for patients who need to start taking insulin. Her commitment to excellence brings a positive influence on her peers and coworkers by providing great ideas to the clinic to help improve patient care, service, and workflow. I believe Dulce should receive the DAISY Award because she is an exceptional Nurse who really cares about every patient, every time.
