Kaitlin has been taking care of my mom for the last three nights. She has answered every question we have had, no matter how stupid it was. She has been so kind and caring through this extremely hard time for my family. Whenever she takes blood or does anything to my mom, she tells her what she is doing, even though my mom is brain dead. Not only is Kaitlin a fantastic nurse, but she's also a great person as well.
My mom will be donating her organs, and while we wish we could be there with her in the OR, we can't. Kaitlin decided she would stay with my mom from the time she leaves her room until she goes down to the morgue. Knowing that Kaitlin will be right by my mom's side when I no longer can be put my heart at ease. My mom will not be alone, and I wouldn't want any other nurse besides Kaitlin by my mom's side with her final hours on earth. My family and I have appreciated everything Kaitlin and the team have done to take care of my mom. All the staff has been so incredible towards my mom and my family. I am extremely grateful for all of the staff here.
