Annie was so kind and sweet, and she had the biggest heart ever.
I went for a procedure for the first time ever and found out I had to lay straight for 2 hours. I said I never want to be one of those patients who complain, but when I heard I had to lay for 2 hours straight I huffed and puffed so annoyed. When I got to the unit, my nurse, Annie, who was finishing up a discharge, told me she would be right with me. My friend was outside waiting for me, and of course, I was bored out of my mind. Annie came to me less than 10 minutes later, and I know how it can be with a discharge. She apologized to me as soon as she got to me and I took it as nothing because I know how it can be in the hospital. I told Annie not to worry about it. She introduced herself, and we started to talk. She made me forget that I had to lay still and straight for 2 hours. She made me feel so comfortable. Annie was so kind and sweet, and she had the biggest heart ever. She made sure my friend was updated and let my friend come see me, so they were not wondering the whole time what was happening, which I loved because I live here in the state by myself.
I was going for surgery soon, so sometimes I had short memory loss and could not remember everything that was being given to me when and a lot of information was thrown at me. Annie prayed with my permission, which I was so grateful for. She has a lot of love in her and made me feel so much better in my situation. I never had a nurse go up and beyond the way she did and. I appreciate her!!!! Thanks for everything she did for me that day!!!
