Shelby is always finding ways to prove how much of a heart she has for her patients, but one particular instance really highlights the dedication she has to the kiddos of Weaver 4. Shelby stayed two hours after her day shift to ensure a patient who was growing very ill was taken care of properly and received the treatment that they needed.
She advocated tirelessly for this sweet kiddo, not leaving the unit for the evening until it was certain that the care the patient needed would be delivered. Despite a difficult situation, Shelby remained calm and showed the patient and parent kindness and compassion. She is a true asset to the Weaver 4 team, and we are lucky to have her.
