My nurse, Danielle went above and beyond to ensure that I received not only the medical care that I needed but the emotional support that I needed as well. You see, I was there waiting to be induced. After being admitted yesterday after an ultrasound determined that my 18-week old son no longer had a heartbeat and was gone, all of the nurses that I encountered were wonderful but Danielle stood out! You see, I experienced other medical concerns that required that I receive various doses of medication and other attention. She explained everything to me and my aunt every step of the way. She made sure that I was safe. She double-checked and sometimes triple-checked that my medicines were as they should be. She was one of the most attentive and thorough nurses that I've ever come in contact with. Danielle held my hand and told me that she admired how strong that I was.
I've never seen a nurse work so hard and manage all the various treatments that I was receiving with such professionalism and reassurance! Great job, Danielle! Thank you for your patience and kindness! Thank you for not only caring for me but also being attentive to the needs of my aunt who was there with me.
