You could've chosen many different professions, but you made the choice to give to others and serve with your skills.
This is for my amazing Nurse, Haley McCanna. She is an amazing listener and gives her patients the hope and desire to fight.Nurses are perhaps the most important professionals. Everyone will, at some point, need a Nurse or Nurse's Aide sometime in their life. Many Nurses choose the profession because they feel they are called to help others. These Nurses sometimes deserve the extra thanks for going above-and-beyond just doing their job. They might even say they were just doing their job. Here are just a few examples of ways to say thanks to an "extra special nurse." I want to thank one of those today.
Haley, you treated me like I was as important as a family member. You took the time and had personal chats with me. You were like an angel descending from Heaven to help guide me on the right path. I appreciate all that you did for me. Your expertise proves that Nurses are just as important as doctors or any other healthcare providers. If it weren't for you, I don't know how things would have turned out.
You do so much more than just care for people well. You are part teacher, part motivational speaker, and part therapist. I'm glad you went into Nursing! You could've chosen many different professions, but you made the choice to give to others and serve with your skills. You are one of the best Nurses I have ever met. You give the profession of Nursing a good name. I have a deep respect for you and the fiery passion you bring to your work. Thank you for your patience with me as I recovered. I know I'm not the easiest person to deal with. When you first introduced yourself, I didn't realize how lucky I was to get such a great Nurse. I hope to stay well forever, but if I ever need help again, I hope to have someone as great as you helping me. There is a special place reserved for people like you. You are a lifesaver!
I'm not sure what I would have done without your help. I'll never underestimate the power of a Nurse again. You have been amazing! You need a raise! Feel free to share this with your boss, who I am sure already knows you are an excellent Nurse! Thank you for being a caregiver who cares! Somehow you knew what I needed without me even saying anything. I want you to wake up every day and know that you are making a positive influence on the world! You are strong, brave and powerful!
