Mr. Cauley was recognized by a patient who expressed her sincere appreciation for Mr. Cauley's kindness and compassion during her stressful hospital stay. The patient was overwhelmed with gratitude that Mr. Cauley took the time to talk, explain and educate her on her diagnosis. Even lending a listening ear allowing her to express her concerns and frustrations.
Shawn Cauley is a 2018 graduate of Wilkes University, starting his career at Geisinger Wyoming Valley in August 2018. Mr. Cauley chose to work at Geisinger because he had nothing but positive experiences during his clinical rotations on the Geisinger campuses. Mr. Cauley stated, "I love being a nurse and helping people on their road to recovery."
