Jamie was extremely busy the night I was admitted. I believe the patient to nurse ratio was 7-1. Jamie was able to handle this situation extremely well. She was so kind, understanding, and patient as she nursed each of us with no sign of frustration or exasperation. She is most definitely an asset. She would always return to check on me exactly when she said she would. If things or answers were not available immediately she would be sure to keep me informed as to when I could expect a result or an answer. That was very nice as a patient to feel involved in my care. Thank you Jamie for all you did to make my hospital stay as comfortable and inclusive as possible.

Jamie was my husband's post-surgical nurse. On his first full day, a new roommate arrived who had some definite issues. His phone conversations which were constant and loud, really became problematic when he called his ex-wife. As they argued he became more and more volatile. Once I slipped out and reported it was a matter of minutes before Jamie's arrived with a supervisor. They gently spoke to him in an effort to deescalate the situation which it did. But once they exited he began again. I shared that information and very shortly he was relocated. This quick and appropriate response was very appreciated. And for the remainder of our stay, Jamie continued to provide excellent care. Everything my husband needed was provided in a timely manner. Sometimes medical explanations are given too quickly for a layman to absorb but Jamie's explanations particularly on wound care were right on point. This discharge process was quick which isn't always the case A+ for Jamie.
