Tiffany's community practicum preceptors shared a story from a clinical experience with an autistic child who came in for immunization. This student nurse communicated with the child in a calming, professional manner. She was also very supportive of the nursing staff. This student nurse is a very personable, kind, caring young lady. She is very knowledgeable in the nursing profession. She interacted in conversation very well with patients and families in the home setting. She will be an excellent nurse!
