Amanda Taylor made a very close personal connection with an oncology patient, C, and his family, so much so that every time C came in, Amanda would take him as a patient, even re-arranging her schedule so she could work when C came in for treatments.
Amanda would even call to check on C. When C was finally admitted to have his last treatment, Amanda planned a party with his family. She had shirts made, cake, and C’s favorite food and they celebrated him. C would tell of the compassionate care he received from Amanda.
