From an RN colleague of Amy Bosher:
I am writing this because I know Amy Bosher is an example of an excellent nurse and team player, also my co-worker. What I learned in these last months during Covid 19 pandemic is that she is amazing – everywhere – all the time. While working with Amy one day for I.C., we were transporting patients from the ED to their rooms. When we would arrive on the floors the nurses, already overwhelmed, would sigh as they got their second Covid + patient from within the hour. Amy, recognizing their frustration, jumped into action. She gathered supplies on the unit so we could give the patient, who was confused and scared a bath. Amy sang to the patient and made her comfortable and made her smile. She got her settled into her room with everything she would need. She documented everything on the computer and let the nurse know. That nurse was almost moved to tears. After sharing this story with our other co-workers I found out that Amy Bosher always goes out of her way and they all had similar stories about her.
