First off being a house supervisor is a lot of responsibility period. I have worked with David for at least 6 years, and he is by far the easiest going and most resourceful house sup that I know. We are blessed with great leadership on nights. We come in some nights and all trauma rooms are full and we have several waiting for beds in the ED. We are told in report that no one will be moving because there are no beds anywhere. David comes in and works his magic and all the units work together and we clear beds where they are needed. He always prepares for the worst so that we have the availability if something crazy happens. The rapport that he has with the charge nurses and the staff is amazing. Safety is important to him and he will not push those limits and put staff/patients at risk. He goes above and beyond to keep this place running like clockwork and keep us off diversion so we can take care of the sick and wounded. He does so much for this establishment.
