Mr. Frank is always looking for a way to improve himself, the care he provides, and the care the Veterans deserve
Mr. Scott Frank, LPN has 25 years of nursing experience and has worked in various roles. He is a role model to his peers and always goes above and beyond. The Veterans he cares for are his top priority and Mr. Frank is always thinking of what we can do to improve the care we provide. He volunteers to assist with many educational opportunities that arise and has a passion for educating his fellow nurses to ensure we are providing high-quality and safe care.
Mr. Frank provides education across the facility for Preventative Management of Disruptive Behavior and also provides education to new employees on Safe Patient Handling and Mobility. Mr. Frank serves as the Safety Union Representative and is a valued role model and advocate for nurses across the facility. Through his involvement in education, he is a leader that his peers look up to and always makes himself available for questions.

Mr. Frank is always looking for a way to improve himself, the care he provides, and the care the Veterans deserve. Over the last twelve months, Mr. Frank has adapted to many different roles as his main clinic was temporarily shut down due to the pandemic. Mr. Frank worked on the Covid+ unit and picked up extra hours to ensure Veterans were taken care of. During this stressful time, Mr. Frank remained calm and was always there to lend a helping hand. Although there were many long and tireless days, he always had a positive attitude and was always asking how he could help.
Mr. Frank is passionate about professional development amongst his fellow LPN's. He continues to work with National and VISN leaders to increase LPN pay by expanding the GS6 role and advocating for a GS7 role. Mr. Frank listens to his peers and is passionate about the work LPN's do. Although this is a difficult task, Mr. Frank has not given up. He actively seeks advice from Nurse Managers in an effort to expand LPN development within the VA.
