Tiffany Perkins was there for my mum and me when my mum first went for tests and was subsequently diagnosed with Lung Cancer. Tiffany was so kind, caring, and thoughtful and explained each process in easy-to-understand terms. Tiffany kept in touch with my mum and would ring her regularly to see how everything was going and how my mum was doing in general. These phone calls really boosted my mum as she had a lot of respect for Tiffany and trusted her implicitly. Mum would tell everyone about "Tiff" and how wonderful she was.
This year Tiffany played a massive role in getting mum into hospital quickly when I contacted her to speak to her about concerns I had regarding Mum's health. We had been to see our GP who diagnosed a UTI, but I knew there was more to it than that. Once again Tiffany was there to listen and the day after my call to her, the consultant called for me to take mum in to be assessed. Sadly, mum's cancer had spread to her brain and she passed away. Tiffany has contacted me since mum's death to check in and see how I am, again this reflects the kind, caring person she is. I don't know how mum and I would have coped on the rollercoaster of mum's journey without the support and fantastic care of Tiffany. She really is a one in a million.
