As a House Manager, Rami is always very supportive of our unit and unit needs. He stresses safety first and does all he can to make sure we are safe. Rami always is a telephone call away and never seems to be bothered when multiple phone calls are made. Rami has learned about our unit and needs and although he doesn't know everything, he is not afraid to say so and learn. Rami has come to the unit to help even it means just answering phone calls and or dealing with family members and situations that arise.
Rami is willing to hear what the charge nurses have to say when advocating the needs for staff. He communicates effectively, explaining when other floors are understaffed and may need help more than our unit on occasion. He is very willing to de-escalate a potential conflict at a moment's notice.
Rami is a great example of a leader. It is hard to find a kindhearted, and supportive manager like Rami. He inspires us every day with his outstanding ability to resolved issues, while being accessible, available and very responsive. I commend him for the work he does and the work he will do from here on out for Henry Ford Hospital.
