Britney Colburn shows mercy day-to-day at work by making her patients feel safe and her coworkers feel supported.
Britney puts every patient and every coworker's needs in front of her own and it does not go unnoticed. She is always compassionate and caring. She stays late to help pass medications for the night shift when we are understaffed and she is already exhausted. Britney volunteered to go down to the COVID unit in March before we knew much about it. She continued to pick up shifts on COVID when they were short. She is constantly going above and beyond for her team and the hospital as a whole. Britney demonstrates her passion for nursing in so many ways. She always shows up to work with a smile, she always accepts whatever challenge is thrown her way, and her patients love her and feel safe in her care. Britney makes all her coworkers feel supported and in good hands when she is at work. The staff each have a wonderful story to share about her.
