When I started as a nurse tech, Lynn LeBlanc was always a nurse I enjoyed working with. Now as a nurse on the unit, my awareness of her hard work and special patient care has grown even greater. Lynn shows up early for each shift and dials in her day, fully investigating each patient, their background, and current status. With how focused she is with each patient, she also has a relaxed demeanor, and you can tell that each patient is at ease under her care. Every time Lynn and I have done handoff, everyone ends up laughing and in good spirits. Even with how acute our unit can be, Lynn is always upbeat and positive.
On top of Lynn's excellent rapport with patients and co-workers, she offers suggestions and guidance when giving reports and always has the patients' wishes at the forefront. As a new nurse, I also love when she shares something new she learned on her shift. Her patients and co-workers appreciate her dearly. Lynn truly is an outstanding nurse.
Lynn is integral to the spirit of 4NE. She is always on the move, and her sense of humor and easy-going nature makes everyone comfortable, new grads and senior nurses alike. She is a spark of joy to the patients that she takes care of and is an advocate for their health and emotional well-being. Lynn is a bundle of energy and joy to work with.
