We have been fortunate to have Sarah Dasso with us for many years because, at her core, Sarah is a natural nurse. Giving compassionate care and serving our patients is just a part of who she is. She has been a mentor, preceptor, collaborator, problem solver, nurturer, and care partner to many of us.
Every time Sarah is asked to take a complicated or challenging assignment, she faces those assignments with a smile and a can-do attitude. And Sarah knows she can count on the uber-supportive culture of her unit to help her care for challenging patients because she helped build that culture.
