Before my daughter was 3 weeks old, she was seen a handful of times at the MICC. Her weight was a concern for me, and almost daily and she was seen by someone at the MICC for a weight check. My first appointment with nurse LT LeDuff was very smooth and calming. I was very stressed out when I realized my 2-week old daughter wasn’t gaining weight and I felt very guilty. LT LeDuff offered to provide some supplemental formula and took his time to educate me on the different kinds of formula, what I should do, and where to buy it. I felt very relieved and grateful when I was offered help by him.

I eventually came back within 48 hours for another appointment for my daughter's weight and he had gone out of his way to buy her some formula when I had mentioned that the commissary was closed on Monday and I couldn’t seem to find the formula I needed. I was so grateful and it was a gesture I didn’t expect. He went above and beyond to make sure my 2-week old baby received some formula to help her gain weight. I have never been to a clinic where the staff helped me find a solution to a problem by going out of their way and took the time to care.

LT LeDuff has been a wealth of knowledge and has been very helpful in every appointment we have ever had at the MICC. I also mentioned that all the stress and anxiety due to the lack of my newborn gaining weight had affected my mental state and I felt I was experiencing the baby blues. He offered to make me an appointment to see someone for my mental health and that has helped me overcome some of my fears and depression. Overall, I can’t thank LT LeDuff and the staff enough for the care my daughter and I received during our appointments. I'm truly thankful to him and how he helped me so much not only with the formula needs but with the concern and help we received!
