I appreciate how kind Miss Vickie was. She truly listens to her patients and if she couldn't answer, she'd find one. I was just released from the hospital after intestinal prolapse and had emergency surgery. All the doctors and nurses and aides were awesome but Miss Vickie just outshone them all.
After I left and got to the after-hours CVS, they didn't have the strength of medication prescribed. The pharmacy thought it was me who needed to talk with the doctor to find out if he can change the strength. I called the hospital main line and got transferred to her station. Bless her heart, she was walking out of the door and stopped and made the call to the doctor. That just shows that she not only is amazing at her job but truly cares. I can just see her face like it wasn't a big deal. To me, it's a great deal. So please let someone know how wonderful she is.
