Keisha Brown is an outstanding RN, MSN. She goes the extra mile in patient care. For example, many times she comes over to another building to meet a Veteran and talk to the patient in person about the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Recovery Center Program. isha is never too busy for a Veteran.
She models excellent communication skills and consistenKetly connects with other departments to create a cohesive environment for the Veterans.
Keisha is a nurse that takes steps towards change in a positive way. For example, Keisha is on the Employee Wellness Engagement and Retention Committee. She is also a member of CREW, the Civility, Respect, Engagement in the Workplace Committee, and a PMDB Instructor.
When the call for nurses came for COVID training, Keisha stepped up and trained for the Emergency Department, as she had been an ED nurse previously.
