Arthur exudes excellence. He has worked on CMICU for about 3 years and is always flexible, caring, and attentive to everyone's needs, patients, and fellow Nurses alike. He receives praise from everyone he meets. These are great attributes of an amazing Nurse, but these are just a few of the reasons I believe he deserves this award.

He MUST get this award because he was the strongest person I know during the initial COVID-19 outbreak. This pandemic was extremely stressful on all of us, but little did anyone know, because Arthur didn't want to put a burden on anyone else's shoulders, that his own father was in ICU fighting for his life, all while Arthur was helping on the unit. Arthur remained calm and top notch at work throughout his father's struggle. Unfortunately, he lost his father during an already immensely stressful time.

He was so resilient, that he came back to work after just a few short days. When I asked him why he came back so soon and not take more time for himself, he answered, "because I know our team needs me". If that isn't a show of his heart and a reason to win this award, I don’t know what is. He truly has a heart of gold.
