I have had Professor Debellis for two courses and a skills lab in my time at the Mount. I have always seen her as a Professor I could go to if I was struggling in either her courses or even other courses. She is nothing but supportive of her students and always goes the extra mile to make sure we truly understand the material and its real-world application.

In one instance, I was nervous about a skills competency and Professor Debellis worked individually with me to make sure I not only knew how to do the skill but felt fully confident about it. She has also been so understanding and supportive to us during the unprecedented times we have been experiencing due to the pandemic. It is a very nerve-wracking time to be a graduating senior and Professor Debellis has provided us with many resources and so much support with any hesitations we might have. I truly have taken so much away from having Professor Debellis as my instructor at the Mount and truly hope to be a mentor to nursing students sometime in the future like she was to so many of us.
