The team is being recognized for collaboratively working together across both HR and the Health Clinics in order to keep business operations moving during all of COVID. All of these associates have contributed both as team members and individual contributors to the overall health and wellbeing of the Cerner population. Despite the pandemic, this team was dedicated to developing a process to coordinate all of the associate screenings and employment requirements required for client site activity.
These nurses also worked together to facilitate the COVID testing for KC and provided clinical support with both pre-travel testing and also management of immediate need testing for exposed associates in and outside of KC. Due to travel requirements for clients requiring onsite support for go-lives during the pandemic the team developed, staffed, and executed a weekend testing program for associates at the Innovations Campus. They also assisted in the daily review of the hundreds of COVID tests that occurred each week by following up with positive associates and assisting them in retesting. The team worked closely with the contact tracers to help with the ability of our associates to travel safely to client sites. This proved to be a valuable contribution to the Cerner image that we were forward thinking and concerned about the safety of our own associates as well as the safety of our clients. Molly and Susie both volunteered at Operation Safe.
All of these individuals contributed greatly to ensure the health and safety of our associates, our population, and our community during the pandemic. The nurses on the team showed all elements of what it means to be a nurse by taking the best care of people as possible. They showed tremendous dedication to Cerner and Cerner clients by making sure we were not introducing COVID into client sites as we continued to support their business requirements.
