I came in for surgery on 10-20-2021. Due to covid, I was in a lot of pain that night and she was my Nurse. She is so caring and compassionate for her patients. She immediately put me at ease. I was very emotional due to the anesthesia and being alone. Nicole listened to me and showed real empathy and understanding. She gave me pain medicine and shots with extreme care. She checked on me many times that first night.
My white blood cells were a bit high so they kept me another night. When Nicole came on shift and saw my name on the board she asked the other nurses about me then came directly to me to see how I was. She reassured me about staying another night as a safety precaution and that I was in good hands. She again gave me my meds with the gentlest of care. I woke up at 2 am and started walking the halls. I've been wearing the same hospital gown for days. She got me a new one and helped me with all my wires and connections.
I've never had such a caring compassionate Nurse. Nicole checks on me often because she knows I am lonely here without my family. I've seen her give the same care to her patients while I've been here. Bailey is so lucky to have such a wonderful inspirational Nurse on their staff. She is a true gem! We need more Nicoles!
