You treated me with a wonderful attitude and with a smile. She was a very good nurse, well appreciated, has a sharp performance, and is very professional. You treated me as I was her priority. She was the most respectful person and nurse I have ever met. She explained my treatment in a manner that made me feel safe and comfortable. I was blessed to be in the hands of Ms. You. She was a great nurse; she demonstrated very good criteria for this award. She should be considered as an asset to LAC+USC Medical Center. Ms. You was my inspiration to go back to school and become a nurse. Hopefully and God willing in ten years or so I will be back but not as a patient but as a nurse. You You is one of our newest members here on 6A as in a year and 3 months. She as well as others started during the difficult time of the COVID pandemic. She did not let that interfere with her role as she provided care for the COVID patients and the non-COVID patients. I found You You to be respectful and displayed a caring attitude towards her patients. Always with a smile. I've never observed her to complain about her assignment. She took her assignment and cared for her patients with a smile.

One of the things we try to instill in our staff is to treat these patients as if it was you or your family members. It is so refreshing to see them doing that and for that, I'm proud of them. Thank you, You, for providing excellent care to our patients during these difficult times. Please continue to do that. Also please note the DAISY Award is from the patient you took care of because you made them feel important and cared for. Congratulations!
