I know after a long day shift Katy facilitated this beyond her contracted finishing time. We cannot thank her enough for putting our needs before her own.

1. Katy recently looked after a young patient and her family within DBDU and their feedback was the Katy was phenomenal and so caring. This is not the first time we have received outstanding feedback about Katy who is clearly patient focussed and is so kind and compassionate. She is also a great colleague. We are so glad we have her in our CSU.
2. Katy has worked collaboratively with gynaecology service to provide nursing care for two extremely sensitive cases. She demonstrated great compassion for these patients and their family at a challenging time.
3. My daughter, after 3 previously canceled surgeries, was admitted to David Beevers for surgery. Throughout the day, Katy kept me regularly updated on her progress. When my daughter returned to the ward she was upset following news regarding her surgery. Katy organized for me to speak to my daughter via video link. This helped both me and my daughter so very much. I know after a long day shift Katy facilitated this beyond her contracted finishing time. We cannot thank her enough for putting our needs before her own. It made such a positive difference for us both. I would also like to give a shoutout to all the staff on David Beevers, Thank you for everything you do every single day.
