Taylor is an exceptional nurse who not only cares for his patient clinically but also holistically.
Taylor Monacelli is by far one of the best nurses I have had during a hospital stay. Taylor went above and beyond his nursing duty to make me feel comfortable, while in the hospital alone and without visitors. Taylor recognized how uncomfortable I was and took it upon himself to bring me a peppermint-scented cloth to help my nausea. He stayed in the room until he was positive that I was feeling better. He continued to pop in the room to ask if I needed anything. I have never had it where a nurse would continue to make sure I felt comfortable when I went out on a walk. I noticed that this nurse was as attentive to others as he was to me. Taylor is an exceptional nurse who not only cares for his patient clinically but also holistically. He took the time to simply listen. He genuinely stood in my room and listened to my concerns and fears about being in the hospital alone. Because of Taylor and the staff here on this unit, I feel 100% and am now at home. He along with many others did everything to make my stay here feel like I was surrounded by family and friends. I want to recognize Taylor because he filled this environment with compassion during such a difficult time.
