Janet MacDonald has been my daughter's PD Nurse for the past several years. She is the rock for our family in both good times and bad. At clinic visits each week, Janet would walk into the room and there was a transformation in the energy in that place. Janet's love for my daughter, her support of our family, and her unending knowledge base have set the highest standard for all other caregivers at Children's and home. Recently Janet transferred from renal to liver care. Our hearts hurt to lose such an outstanding caregiver and partner on my daughter's team. In all the years of our daughter's illness, we have never experienced the level of care for the whole family that we have had with Janet. Her new department and patients have received a gem to be treasured.
