Jennifer Bond was the last nurse that we had in the week-long stay at the hospital. She was very thorough and did not forget anything we told her. She was very personable but professional at all times. She put my husband (the patient) at ease after a very difficult time. We waited from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm in ER for a hospital room. Jenn was not the first nurse we had but was just a shining spot in our stay. My husband was put on suicide watch before Jenn came and it distressed him very much because we were not told what was happening. Jenn told us step by step everything and made sure night nurses were informed of everything going on with him. She even told them in front of us so we knew they had been informed. She listened to our needs and took care of them promptly. Including small things like educating us about carbs and as small a detail as a straw for my husband's drink. Jenn is a great nurse and we would like her to be recognized somehow. She said she loves what she does and it shows.
Jennifer was a wonderful nurse. She was patient professional and listened to my husband's needs. We cannot express how nice it was to be listened to. There were other nurses but she shone like a brilliant star taking care to inform night staff of what he needed and his condition. We cannot be more thankful for her care.
