We had a patient come into the Emergency Room who had traveled with his wife three hours to be with us at our facility as he needed surgery for an inguinal hernia. His wife was not permitted to be in the hospital with him due to visitor policies and was having a hard time finding affordable accommodations nearby.
Stacey personally called the nearby hotel and worked with the staff there to secure not only a great rate for our patient's spouse but gave them all the information they needed in order to remain close by while our patient went through his stay with Del E. Webb. The patient and I were moved to tears due to Stacey’s compassion and concern for ensuring that his wife would be as close as possible during his upcoming procedure.
