Not only is Angela an incredible advocate for our veterans but a great resource and role model to all other nurses and employees.
Angela Greenhouse is an RN with over 20 years of experience and demonstrates compassion toward patients and their families. She is able to detect when patients have difficulties understanding a care plan even when they don't speak up about it. She goes out of her way on a daily basis especially when the VA care is combined with community care providers. She has spent countless hours on the telephone verifying appointment times and locations and assuring the veteran and family know when and where appointments are going to take place. She makes follow-up calls to make sure the patient did in fact receive the care. This is such a valuable asset that goes on without anyone knowing the extra effort that she puts in.

It is my distinct pleasure to work with Angela Greenhouse, RN, daily. I witness her commitment to the health and well-being of each-and-every veteran as she routinely delivers care. She is no stranger to staying over her tour of duty to transport a patient or taking the extra time to go in-depth explaining care to the patient or family member. Angela goes out of her way to ensure the veteran is continuing care by making follow-up phone calls to the vet and outside providers. She has a compassionate soul and cares with grace. Her smile and positive attitude while caring for the patient brings them complete joy. Angela Greenhouse shows compassion to all of her patients daily. She takes the time to answer all questions they have by showing them that they are important. She ensures all of their needs are met before she leaves the Podiatry Clinic. On numerous occasions, I have witnessed Angela assisting veterans to their wheelchairs and then to their cars to ensure their safety. This commitment to our veterans is admirable and shows the amount of respect Angela has for them by giving them the excellent service they deserve. While at our VA, Angela has received numerous compliments from veterans on overall patient satisfaction and service. This is a great way to acknowledge Angela for her hard work and show our appreciation.
