Jackie always has the patient's best interest as her primary goal.
Jackie has worked here for three years. She is a fast learner and has become an expert LDRP nurse. She provides excellent patient care to all families. She is a certified Lactation Counselor and is seeking her IBCLC.
Jackie enters charges for our unit and spends hours tracking billable items from the patient's electronic health record (EHR). Jackie is an excellent preceptor. She provides a thorough orientation to new nurses.
Jackie is very skilled with high-risk patients. A patient presented to the Birth Center not feeling well - Jackie triaged, contacted the provider, and treated the patient within less than an hour. It is extremely important to treat women during pregnancy with elevated blood pressure quickly! The patient's blood pressure was treated quickly, efficiently, and safely as the patient was prepped for transport to a tertiary care center.
Jackie cared for my daughter during a VBAC, keeping her calm and focused until the obstetrician arrived. She stayed after her shift had ended to ensure there was enough staff available in case there was a need to go to the OR. I worked with Jackie a few weeks again, it was the end of her 12-hour shift when a patient came in and needed an urgent cesarean section. Jackie did not complain, she got the patient ready for the OR and worked late, again. Jackie always has the patient's best interest as her primary goal.
