Michelle's presence was so warm and comforting and really made me feel so much better about everything that we were facing.
When I learned I would be having a c-section due to my baby's breech position, I was a little bit nervous, but was as ready as I could be. I had my appointment set up, I had spoken to my doctor on the phone, and was looking forward to meeting my baby. However, my water broke, and I went into labor two days before I was scheduled, and my labor progressed so quickly I found myself in the OR and within 10 minutes, my baby was born and in Michelle's care. She was so sweet and attentive to my baby and dad as I was finishing the surgery, and she came to see us in PACU to see how we were doing.

Our baby had a very unexpected birth defect which was very overwhelming and Michelle's presence was so warm and comforting, and really made me feel so much better about everything that we were facing. Not only did she stay with us for an extended period of time in PACU, she also came to see us again the next day in our hospital room. She was so kind and loving, and I really will never forget the strength she helped me find in such a scary time. She was wonderful, and I cannot thank her enough for her care. Of all the nurses we had during that stay, she was the one my husband and I remember with the most fondness.
