Wow, where to start. When Shelly came on duty and walked in, she brought confidence and positivity with her. I was an emotional wreck and the pain meds made it worse. Shelly knew my chart well and was honest, positive, and proactive. I cannot express how much Shelly's personality helped me. Shelly's way of delivering news to me was comforting due to the trust I had for her words. Shelly made me feel like I was her only patient while keeping my spirits up regarding my possible surgery. Shelly can "read the room" and react accordingly. I had some pretty low points and was happy to see Shelly walk into my room. With St. Lukes’ amazing staff, it is hard for me to say this but, the truth is that Shelly is the absolute best nurse I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient of. Thank you, Shelly, for being a great human and amazing nurse.
