Lindsey took care of my mother. She is the most compassionate, sweet, loving nurse I have ever encountered! My mother has terminal cancer and Lindsey took the time to listen to my mother like she was the only patient Lindsey had! My mother absolutely loves her! When we decided to go to Hosparus, Lindsey called the Hosparus nurse in ASAP. She then stayed in the room and let my mother lean on her for support. Extraordinary! Thank you, Lindsey, for the love you showed my mother while she was in your care. You made a very terrible time in our life tolerable!

On Friday morning my wife was admitted to the hospital with severe respiratory issues of unknown origin. Once sent to 6 West, we encountered Ms. Brown. We are members of the LGBTQ community and we routinely face ridicule and discrimination when we seek medical services. However, Ms. Brown has gone past our expectations. She has treated us like family and made us feel warm and welcome at UofL Health-Jewish Hospital. Lindsey’s professionalism and dedication to patient care and customer service shine through as an example for all nurses and staff to follow. She has been able to answer every question we have had and has solved every issue or problem with a smile on her face. During these difficult times, that says a lot about her strength of character. I can not praise Lindsey enough!
