Amanda worked collaboratively with other providers and was compassionate in her approach.
Amanda provided outstanding care for my grandfather. In Amanda's care, I felt that my grandfather's needs were a priority. Amanda went above and beyond to ensure that my concerns surrounding his status were addressed. As a nurse myself, I understand the difficulty of being able to manage multiple patients’ needs at a time. In addition to completing patient related tasks, it can be challenging to also meet the need of the family members. Amanda proved herself as a nurse that is empathetic, calm under pressure, efficient, and knowledgeable.
Amanda worked collaboratively with other providers and was compassionate in her approach. In a time that has proven to be incredibly demanding of our nurses, Amanda delivered care that felt patient-centered, attentive, and committed. Time is one of the most precious things that we don't get back and never seem to have enough of. I want to personally thank Amanda on behalf of myself, and my grandfather, for making us feel as though she had the time to listen, acknowledge, and validate our feelings. Nurses like Amanda have the power to influence others to go above and beyond "task work" and to value the importance of building rapport with patients and their families. For this reason, as well as the many aforementioned, we are grateful.
