My wife and I were enjoying dinner in our room after the birth of our child. During this dinner, I began to choke and ran into the hallway. Lyndsey immediately saw that I was in distress and without hesitation she jumped into action and proceeded to save my life. She performed the Heimlich maneuver and I was able to get rid of what was choking me. In my opinion, Lyndsey is my Hero and I will forever be thankful for her quick action. I feel that she meets the special criteria for the DAISY award by being a very Extraordinary Nurse !! If it wasn't for her quick thinking and knowledge my child might not have a father to grow up with and there is nothing that can replace that.
