Each day she enters my room like a breath of fresh air accompanied by a ray of sunshine. I look forward to her appearance each day. She is gifted with a remarkable sense of humor and a lightning quick wit, as well as empathy, compassion, and concern.

She makes you feel like you are her only patient and that her sole mission is to care for you and assist in your recovery.

I was recently at the low point of my stay- this was most likely because of a reversal in my pain to wellness accompanied with the fact that while in the hospital I seriously injured my back.

While she and I were discussing all of this I became overwhelmed with emotion and lapsed into tears.

She simply sat by my side, allowed me to express my emotions and comforted me by listening and holding my hand. What a marvelous immense ability to know just what to do at any given moment.

Once I had regained composure, we sat about discussing a plan for my recovery.
