Nerina you are very special to me; I will never forget what you did for me. Thank you for allowing me to talk to my little girl at a time when I believe was the hardest for me as a mother. On behalf of Ms. Maria who could not be here at this special moment, it is my great honor and privilege to celebrate one of our amazing nurses’ achievements, and that is receiving this most prestigious DAISY Award. Nerina Moreno has been with our 6D family for almost 4 years now. She is a great asset to our unit with excellent communication skills and works well with her colleagues. She is very efficient, dedicated, and committed to providing high-quality care to her patients. She was once our representative for the patient experience committee. Above all, Nerina is very caring, loving, and compassionate. She takes time to listen and attend to her patients’ needs in every possible way she can. For example, as mentioned, the patient indicated thanking Nerina for taking her time and extra effort to facilitate communication between a mother and a daughter during the most difficult time in our history of health care. With all that being said, from all of us, we are full of gratitude and thankful for all your hard work and dedication to your chosen profession. Keep up the great work! We are so proud of you.
