Stephen just did that thoughtful gesture out of the goodness of his heart and it made me so happy inside.
Stephen Ledlow was wonderful. He was very kind and helpful. He volunteered to make a special design on my window so that my kids could see me downstairs without me asking him. He took some paper and made a smile design. I felt bad because my kids couldn’t visit me. It was especially hard because we are always together. He came up with that amazing idea and took that time when he didn’t have to. He was more than just a nurse, he made me feel good. I told him how happy it made me, and he said, “That’s just what I do.” It meant so much to me and made me feel so much better. He is a very good nurse who went over and beyond way more than just his job. I can truly say that. It was fantastic.
I can say that he wasn’t just one of those that just come to work because it is a job. It was very nice. He educated me on stuff and was very patient with me. He was there with me. Not everyone goes above like that. He did way more than his job. Stephen just did that thoughtful gesture out of the goodness of his heart and it made me so happy inside. He needs to know how happy he makes others by caring about their emotional well-being. That really touched my heart and my soul to know there are still good people in this world. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. On top of that, he has been blessed with the gift of a laughing spirit. I enjoyed his company from the time I met him. He didn’t have to do those extra things to make me feel special, but he did. We need more people like him who go above and beyond, and I knew I had to share what he meant to me.
