Curtis’s compassion, generosity, and teamwork are everything I could ask for in a coworker.
When coming onto shift, Curtis and I shared a patient. When we went to do a bedside report Curtis and I both were concerned for the wellbeing and safety of our patient. We collectively decided to call an MRT at shift change. Curtis was extremely helpful when advocating for the patient. Our concern was that our patient was becoming septic. Not only did Curtis stay an extra 30 minutes past the end of his shift, he then went even further and offered to get vital signs for my three other patients since I was going to be occupied in this patient's room for a long time. Curtis got his fourth set of vitals and gave 8 am medications to allow me to focus on our critically ill patient. Curtis’s compassion, generosity, and teamwork are everything I could ask for in a coworker. I am so thankful to work with him.
