Professor Bell is passionate about nursing and teaching her students how to be great nurses.
Ashley Bell is admired and loved by students, graduates, and colleagues alike. She exemplifies an Extraordinary Nursing Faculty member worthy of the DAISY Award. Her students view her as so much more than an instructor. Here is what they had to say:
Professor Bell is an amazing teacher, mother, and nurse. She is so knowledgeable about almost any topic ever. She is passionate about nursing and teaching her students how to be great nurses. She taught us how to integrate faith into our own nursing practice. She is kind, caring, and shows endless grace to her students.
Over the past two years, Professor Bell has been the model example of an extraordinary professor. I know that comes from her love for Jesus. Her relationship with Christ is so evident in everything she does, whether it be a prayer before class, returning a prayer request card from the beginning of the semester with a prayer on it for us, listening to worship music in her office, or leading Bible studies. Professor Bell is more than a professor, she is my friend.
Deuteronomy 31:8 reminds us that God goes before us, beside us, and behind us. God saw the full picture of her life. When she graduated from nursing school, He knew the impact she would make. Her life is proof that wherever God leads, He has a plan and everything He takes you through is preparing you for where He is leading you. And I am so glad that God led her to MBU.
