I had abdominal surgery and had some issues and was admitted for a few days late afternoon. Barbara was my nurse. She was personable and empathetic. She was always on top of my sx’s and relayed them in a timely manner to the surgical team. She always made sure I was comfortable, hydrated, and took care if my meds, letting me know when I would be getting them. She always introduced the second shift nurse to me before leaving her shift to reassure me I would be in capable hands. I appreciate all her care and concern; it helped ease my worries about my condition which really helped a lot.
